Eun Ji Won, First Korean Celebrity Modeled in ‘World of Warcraft’

Blizzard Entertainment announced that ‘Eun-Choding’, modeled after Eun Ji Won, will be an NPC in the expansion pack ‘Mists of Pandaria‘. Blizzard Entertainment stated, “The ‘Eun Choding’ NPC was created because of the Korean players’ continuous support of ‘World of Warcraft’. We wanted to provide something fun that users can enjoy.

‘Eun-Choding’ is the first NPC that will be modeled after a Korean celebrity. As fitting of the ‘Eun-Choding’ name, he’s a young Pandaren that greets players near the cabbage patch.” When the ‘Eun-Choding’ NPC is talked to, he replies, “I like to travel for 1 Night and 2 Days. During the travels, sleeping outside is especially fun!“, “I was really good at dancing. Wanna see?“, and even sings a line from Eun Ji Won’s hit song “Adios“, singing, ”Why baby why~ Why baby why~ I’m gonna be a singer when I grow up!“.

Eun Ji Won’s label said, “Eun Ji Won has always enjoyed playing ‘World of Warcraft’. In September, he has even appeared in the promotional videos when ‘World of Warcraft: Mist of Pandaria’ first came out.”

 

Lee Seunggi Revealed His Feeling After Leaving 1N2D

On the November 30th broadcast of KBS2′s ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘, Lee Seung Gi shared his feeling after leaving 1 Night 2 Days (1N2D), “I was on ’1 Night 2 Days’ for five years.  After I left the program I started filming a drama so there was no real down time."

He then continued, "But once my drama ended, there was a lot of free time and so there was an empty feeling.  At least once I week I would go to the broadcast studio and talk a lot and leave, but because that was gone now, I find myself talking a lot now in my everyday life.” The host Yoo Hee Yeol asked, “Don’t those around you feel that you have become brighter?” to which Lee Seung Gi replied, “I have become a bit more care free.”

Jang Keun Suk's Asia Tour Attracted 163,000 fans

Jang Keun Suk's  Asian tour "The Cri Show 2" attracted a total of 163,000 fans and finally came to an end at Saitama Super Arena on Nov. 29. The tour which kicked off in Seoul in July, made its way around Yokohama, Shanghai, Taipei, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka before calling it a wrap at the Super Arena, with an additional show squeezed in to meet demands. He had a total number of 16 concerts during the 5 month period.

Each concert was about 3 hours long, and Jang Keun Suk sang more than 19 songs to the delight of his many fans.  Jang even took part in every stage of preparation from brainstorming, stage direction and developing the tour's concept, "Amusement Park for Adults".

Although Jang was the entertainer, fans of the artist also took part to entertain Jang with various events. On the first day in Saitama, fans showered him with multi-colored paper airplanes and on the following day a colorful balloon was launched, both to commemorate Jang's 20 years in the industry. To return the favor, Jang promised that he'd return with "The Cri Show 3" next year and also treated fans to a never-before-heard song that he recorded with his sub-unit duo partner Big Brother.

Song Jong Ki's Ideal Woman: Witty and.....

Actor Song Joong Ki revealed his ideal woman at the celebrating event of the movie "A Werewolf Boy" which hit the record of 6 million viewers. He said, "I like someone who's witty. Then comes appearance and then personality. After that is shape but I think that's included in looks".

He claimed he hasn't been able to sleep or rest well since the final episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Nice Guy". "I feel bad for Park Bo-yeong for not being there for the movie events because of the drama. I am trying to meet with the public everyday. Thank goodness the movie is getting a good response. I enjoyed checking the Theater Balances everyday".

Song Joong-ki, Park Bo-yeong and Yoo Yeon-seok's "A Werewolf Boy" was released on the 31st of October and hit a number of 5.46 million audiences (as of the 22nd November). It seems that this week it'll break through 6 million.

Lee Seunggi Denies Dating Rumor with Son Gain

During an interview with KBS 2TV's "Entertainment Relay", Lee Seunggi talked about the dating rumour that is linking him to fellow singer Son Gain of Girl Group Band "Brown Eyed Girls". "Of course it wasn't true, but people believed it and called my agency to verify", Lee explained.

He said that the rumor is one of the most awkward rumors he faced was the aforesaid situation. He added, "It was ridiculous, and I think Son Ga-in was annoyed by it (the rumor) too because she clear it up on 'Mighty Heart'"

Asia Prince Jang Geun Suk as the Face of Online Dancing Game in China

Asia Prince Jang Geun Suk  has been selected as the face of an online dancing simulation game called "Audition 2". As the Korean game sets out to capture the Chinese gaming market, Jang's image as a proven force in K-pop will be the company's marketing tactic.

Jang attended the press conference for the game on Oct. 29 at the Kempinski Hotel in Chengdu, where various local media swarmed to see Jang in his new role in the game. "Jang Geun-seok is a superstar in Chinese-speaking nations throughout Asia and so we thought he'd be a great spokesperson for the brand", said the company reps.

Lee Seunggi to make comeback as singer with new mini-album

A representative from Hook Entertainment stated, “Lee Seung Gi will be making a comeback with his 5.5 mini-album on November 22.“ The as-yet-unnamed mini-album is his first release since his 5th album ‘Tonight‘ last year. Lee Seung Gi himself is reported to have asked Epitone Project to work with him on the upcoming mini-album. Though the album will feature the singer’s trademark ballads, it will steer away from the rock ballad genre to a more soothing sound.

He’ll also be holding the ‘Lee Seung Gi Hope Concert‘ at Seoul’s Olympic Park Gymnasium on December 1 and 2 KST.

Asia Prince Jang Geun Suk become Prince of Ads

Asia Prince Jang Geun Suk claimed another crown in Japan - Prince of Ads. This time, the 25-year-old entertainer who acts, sings and models, has proven that his presence is noted even in 2-D by winning the "Best Advertising" prize at this year's Japan Newspaper Publishers and Editors Association awards ceremony. "The actor-turned-singer has proven time and time again just what a force he is in Asia", said a spokesperson from the association. There were about 457 ads competing, and the company behind Jang's promotion took home the coveted award.

According to Tree J Company yesterday, Jang's eight-page spread that turned into a life-size poster when unfolded was published late May in the Asahi Shimbun. The ad took up four pages at the front and another four at the back of the paper and was placed to promote Jang's "Just Crazy" album. Fueled by the promotion, the album sold more than 88,000 copies in one week.

Jae Hee Confess His Marriage

After a report circulated early yesterday that "May Queen" star Jae Hee, known as a bachelor, was actually a married man with one child, the actor later confirmed the rumor. His agency came forward to say the rumors were true, but Jae Hee wasn't a liar. "He is indeed in a relationship with a woman he loves", said a spokesperson from the entertainer's agency. "It wasn't exactly a secret, but he just wanted his wife to have a normal life".

"It's a bit awkward that I wasn't able to make the announcement in my own time", Jae Hee said in a statement. The 32-year-old actor said despite the unfortunate timing of the revelation that he was "not ashamed of his wife and kid situation", and that both relations were registered at the borough office. "I just want to protect my loved ones", Jae Hee said.

Jang Geun Suk Drawn More Than 115,000 fans to "The Cri Show 2"

Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk has already drawn more than 115,000 fans to his "The Cri Show 2" tour, which started on July 7. With four performances left, the Asian tour has made stops in Shanghai; Taipei; Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka in Japan; as well as Seoul, where it kicked off.

"From Saturday to Sunday, Jang performed for a packed concert hall in Fukuoka with 20,000 fans in attendance", his agency said. The company said that it was a huge improvement from his concert in the prefecture two years ago, where he could only manage to hold a showcase at a venue with a maximum capacity of 3,000.

As well as singing his hit songs, Jang has been using his tour to publicize the Busan International Film Festival, which is currently taking place in his home country. The 25-year-old entertainer said he was happy with the tour's progress, adding that "if the last tour could be likened to a challenge, then this tour is the start of the hard work paying off".

Gong Yoo’s “Manner Legs” Attract Fans

Actor Gong Yoo‘s “manner legs” attracted the attention of fans and netizens on the October 3rd broadcast of SBS‘ ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘. He spread his legs to match the height of his interviewer, who appeared to be much shorter than him.

Gong Yoo has been looking slimmer and taller lately as he’s staying fit for his next movie. Reporter Ha Ji Young stated, “You look even taller,” and expressed her wish to be able to look him in the eye. He then immediately lowered his height.

He stated, “I’ve had to do this often during drama filmings in the past. If there is a big height difference with the female actress, I have to spread my legs to see her eye to eye.“

Leetuk to Enter Army on October 30

After mentioning that he will indeed fulfill his national military service this year, Super Junior's Leeteuk  will enter the Army at reserves training facility in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi on October 30. 2012. After five weeks of training, the 29-year-old entertainer will carry out military duties for an additional 21 months.

With a little more than a month until the big day, Leeteuk seems to be wearing himself thin.A few days ago, he apologized to his fans via Twitter for his absence last Saturday at SM Town's concert in Jakarta, Indonesia. Exhaustion coupled with enteritis is what's supposed to have held Leeteuk back.

1 Night 2 Days Receives Presidential Commendation

On the 24th, the ’1 Night 2 Days’ team received an award at the opening ceremony of Gyeongnam Changwon’s District Development Week. Comedian Lee Soo Geun and CP Han Kyung Chun represented the entire team. The reason the team received the award is because the show has introduced South Korea’s hidden natural beauty for the past five years while presenting viewers with laughter and information. It broke down barriers between districts and increased tourism to fishing counties.

CP Han Kyung Chun said, “I’m thankful because this award is acknowledging the sunbae and hoobae PDs, the entertainers, and the staff’s hard work for the past five years. We’re going to make a better, more fun program by working harder.” The netizens who heard the news commented, “Good programs shine everywhere”, “Congratulations on the Presidential Commendation“, and “This is really great“.

Rain Hospitalized due to Back Pains

Singer Rain has been hospitalized because of problems with his back.  Rain’s reps explained, “He went to the hospital because of back pains yesterday. He couldn’t attend the soldier star audition where he was supposed to serve as a judge.”

The problem was because of his spine discs. A representative from the label explained, “People who dance usually have problems with their back. He had a herniated disc even before he enlisted. When he was in pain, he went to the hospital to get it treated. But it’s not so serious that people have to worry. It happens often.”

The label also denied the rumors that he may receive an early discharge from the military due to this injury stating, “He’s getting medical and physical treatment at a hospital. There are no large problems with his health. All he has to do is to rest in the hospital. Once he’s done with his treatment, he will be finishing his enlistment normally.”

Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ha Neul, Han Ji Min, Lee Soo Geun, Kim Byung Man, and more become part of SM Entertainment’s SM C&C

SM Entertainment‘s SM C&C is growing even larger as it has merged with AM Entertainment, which houses some of Korea’s representative actors and actresses. On September 19th, a representative from SM C&C stated, “We have decided to merge with AM Entertainment which holds Korean representative actors and actresses like Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ha Neul, Han Ji Min, and more.” Through this decision, SM C&C plans to expand as a Asia video contents and drama production center, in addition to becoming a global acting management business.

However, actor Hyun Bin and actress Shin Min Ah, who were under AM Entertainment, have not been confirmed to join SM C&C. Although the two were part of AM Entertainment, their personal contracts have already expired. One representative stated, “Hyun Bin and Shin Min Ah dropped out of SM’s move. It is because their exclusive contracts with AM have expired. Hyun Bin is expected to think carefully about his agency problem as he is in his military service, while Shin Min Ah will discuss it later after her drama ‘Arang and the Magistrate‘.”

In addition, it has also been revealed that comedians Kim Byung Man and Lee Soo Geun have joined SM C&C as well after Kang Ho Dong and Shin Dong Yup‘s recent signing.  A representative stated, “Kim Byung Man who appears in SBS‘s ‘Laws of the Jungle‘ and Lee Soo Geun from KBS‘s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ have signed exclusive contracts.”

Kim Jong Min Got Leg Injury from Typhoon Bolaven

Koyote's leader Kim Jong-min reportedly had to receive 20 stitches for a leg injury incurred from the recent Typhoon Bolaven. Thankfully, Kim's injuries didn't leave serious damage on his leg muscles, but the singer is currently in a cast and on crutches.

According to the officials from "Music & Lyrics Season 2", he will be taking a break from activities and broadcasts to recover from the surgery which left behind 20 stitches on his leg. This will cause Kim's absence not only on the show "Music & Lyrics Season 2" which he is cast in, but also in Koyote's comeback promotions.

Again, Bridal Mask Broke Own Record

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on the 6th, the final episode of KBS 2TV drama "Bridal Mask/Gaksital" rated 22.9%. This is 1.4% higher than the previous episode. Meanwhile, MBC drama "Arang and the Magistrate" rated 10.9% which is 0.8% lower than the previous episode and SBS drama "To The Beautiful You" hit the slump with  0.8% less to 5.4%.

Movie "The Thieves" Broke Another Record

August 30th,  "The Thieves" had attracted about 12,310,000 people according to the movie's distributors. This brings its total higher than the 12,302,831 that the movie "The King and the Clown" brought in several years ago. Now the only movie between it and the #1 spot is "The Host", which was the highest grossing Korean film to date, with 13,019,740 viewers. "The Thieves" was able to reach the 12.31 million mark in just 37 days after its release, which was a day faster than the movie "The Host".

The ultimate #2 highest grossing movie in Korea is about a group of 10 thieves from Korea and China, that are all after a very valuable diamond called "The Tear Of The Sun", held in a casino in Macau. The movie features an A-list cast of Kim Yoon-seok, Kim Hye-soo, Lee Jeong-jae, Jeon Ji-hyeon, Kim Hye-sook, Oh Dal-soo, and Kim Soo-hyeon-I.

Nichkhun to pay 4 million KRW fine for DUI

Due to his recent DUI charge, 2PM‘s Nichkhun will be paying a 4 million KRW fine (~ 3,524 USD). The statement was released on August 30th by the Seoul Supreme Prosecutor’s Office: “Nichkhun already reached a settlement with the other party. There were no serious injuries, and his blood alcohol level was low, so the case was settled with a summary judgement (settled by a judge with no jury involved). There were no further investigations.”

Nichkhun was charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of 0.056% on July 24th after a small accident occurred on his way home.

Lee Min Jung and actor Lee Byung Hun Confirm Dating Rumors

Lee Min Jung‘s agency recently made an official statement revealing that their actress and Lee Byung Hun have confirmed their relationship as a couple. Since earlier this year, there were rumors floating around about the two celebrities and their relationship, however both sides denied the assertions. It is being said that Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung developed their relationship in secrecy, however with rumors being blown up to the two getting married, the couple has decided to confirm the news!

Actress Lee Min Jung stated, “I denied the news in April because at the time I was neither ready for the public to know nor prepared for the aftermath of the news getting out. Most of all, because my parents and my agency both were unaware of the situation, I had no choice but to be even more careful.” She continued, “I made my mind that I wanted to come out and honestly reveal the news to everyone after I became more confident in my judgement and everything became more stable. I decided that it wouldn’t be right to deny the truth any longer so I am revealing my position after much discussion with my seniors.”

Regarding the rumors of a November wedding the actress stated, “The news about a wedding being held this November is false. And of course it’s not true that I went to a hanbok fitting either. The two of us are not at all prepared for a wedding and nothing has been set.” Finally Lee Min Jung expressed, “It’s still a pretty sensitive issue, but the both of us are taking our relationship seriously and if later on some good news were to come about, you all will be the first to know. I had a lot of worries as a woman, an actress and a daughter, but I’m trying to be courageous. I’m hoping to grow happy with everyone’s support.”

Lee Byung Hun revealed his side stating, “I’m writing to all of you with just a few weeks left till I leave Korea for the rest of 2012. I’ve found someone I want to be with. And because I believe it’s my duty to let all of our fans know first I decided to post these words.”

He continued, “Having known her for a long while now, I came to think she has the ability to brighten the people around her with her heart. However, it was inevitable that the two of us were taken aback when rumors started spreading just as we were beginning our relationship“, revealing the reason as to why the two denied the rumors. The actor concluded stating, “Now, she has become the person who is most important to me. And I want to continue this relationship in a serious manner.”

It has been reported that the two began their relationship in the first half of this year, and the couple are continuing to carefully grow their relationship.

Kang Ho Dong and Shin Dong Yup Sign with SM Entertainment’s SM C&C

On August 17th, MC Kang Ho Dong and Shin Dong Yup announced that they will be signing new contracts with SM C&C in collaboration with SM Entertainment. On his contract and comeback to the entertainment industry, Kang Ho Dong stated, “Since last year, I’ve spent a lot of thinking, and I feel that the right thing for me to do is to return to my position as an MC and bring more joy to everyone. I have carefully decided to return to my broadcast activities through my exclusive contract with SM C&C and the management of SM Entertainment. Through them, I’ll focus on my work to bring more joy and happiness to everyone.”

Shin Dong Yup added, “Through this new exclusive contract, I hope to create a synergistic effect with Asia’s best singers and actors in creating new programs and creating a differentiating image.”

Lee Seung Gi Deny Rumors of a 2013 military enlistment

Lee Seung Gi‘s representatives denied rumors of the singer enlisting in the Korean military late next year. Through a phone interview with Dispatch on August 10th, Lee Seung Gi’s agency Hook Entertainment stated, “The rumors of [Lee Seung Gi] enlisting in the military late next year are completely groundless. He will go when the time comes, but we have yet to set an exact date.”

As of now, Lee Seung Gi is attending graduate school. In the event an individual is enrolled in school, it is possible to postpone military enlistment. The rep continued, “The agency has never discussed anything related to military enlistment. We don’t know why these rumors keep spreading. He is planning on enlisting at the right time, but as of right now, there is a lot left for him to do.”

For the time being, Lee Seung Gi will be devoting his time to work. It seems as though Lee Seung Gi prioritizes firmly making his mark as both an artist and an actor. “His enlistment will be planned after he shows you a lot of different sides to him,” the rep added.

Jang Geun Suk, The First Korean Star on Postage Stamps in Japan

In celebration of his 20th debut anniversary, the Japanese Post will be selling official postage stamp sets specially commemorating the event. It’s hard to believe that someone only in his 20's is already 20 years into his career, but his stamp set will celebrate just that with special photos looking back on his career.

Pre-orders for the stamps will begin on August 20th through post offices nationwide. Pictures in the set will include everything from his youth to his teens and divided into two sets called ’1st History’ and ’2nd History’. The set comes in a special folder package that includes customized postcards, envelopes, and stickers, along with never-before-released pictures of the star.

In related news, Jang Geun Suk recently added additional finale concert dates at the Saitama Super Arena for November 26th, 27th, and 29th as a present for fans that weren’t able to make it to his sold out tour, ‘The Cri Show 2‘.

Explanation for Yoochun’s Twitter Deactivation

JYJ Yoochun‘s sudden deactivation of his Twitter has made many fans curious as to why he might have done it. Yoochun left a Twitter post on August 1st that read, “I am always so grateful that you are always cheering me on and showing me your love and support. I want to greet you guys in the future with great music, acting, and promotions…^^ Once again, I am sincerely grateful and I love you!! ?.”

Twitter was a way for Yoochun to communicate with his fans and the sudden deactivation has caused speculation. Many have assumed that he deactivated his Twitter because of sasaeng fans like Super Junior’s Heechul, but that does not appear to be the case for Yoochun.

A representative of Yoochun told OSEN on August 2nd, “In his fans point of view, this was a ‘sudden’ move, and I think that is why a lot of misunderstandings came up. He did not delete his Twitter for any particular reason. He has been neglecting his Twitter after opening it so I think that troubled him. Many fans are waiting for him to update his Twitter and send him many mentions, but he can’t reply back daily so he decided it would be better to deactivate his Twitter rather than continue to neglect it. His reason for deactivating his Twitter is not because he developed a personal problem nor is it because he had a change of heart. ”

Jang Geun Suk, Most Followed Celebrity on Weibo

Actor Jang Geun Suk has reached over 5 million followers on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, further proving his immense popularity in China and cementing his status as “Asia’s Prince”. He became the most followed international celebrity, passing Tom Cruise who has 4.4 million followers.

T-ara Hwayoung asked for fans' support

Amidst the controversy currently brewing around T-ara with their tweets, member Hwayoung recently updated her Twitter with a message that has left fans curious. On the morning of July 28th (KST), she wrote, “The support of my family and my fans is worth so much to me. Please watch over me.”

She also previously tweeted a photo of herself and twin sister Hyoyoung holding hands, writing, “Ryu! Thanks for being by my side. I love you”, which seems to be a response to the supportive messages Hyoyoung had written on her own Twitter.  Hwayoung's ambiguous tweet had left netizen wondering what she could be referring to and  the rumor that Hwayoung is an outcast in the group keep heating up the Internet.

Meanwhile, just after the rumor of T-ara feud started to spread, T-ara’s Hyomin switched her profile photo on her SNS account On July 28, 2012. The photo is part of the cover of the book by Mira Kirshenbaum titled “Everything happens for a reason.” Netizens began to speculate that  she must try to say something with the title of the book, which seems meaningful regarding the rumored feud.

In regard of this incident, the president of T-ara’s agency Kim Kwang Soo has also announced that he will be releasing a statement regarding T-ara on July 30th.

Psy:"My agency held discussion about my looks"

On the July 27th broadcast of SBS ‘GO Show‘, singer Psy revealed that his former agency (before he joined YG) once held a discussion about his looks. Psy said, "At first, I was picked because of my voice. I posted my song online, and an associate of the company said that he liked my voice when casting me.”

2PM’s Wooyoung was asked out by an older actress

On the July 28th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2',  2PM‘s Wooyoung revealed that he’s been asked out by an older actress. He stated, “Iwas asked out by an older actress before. The actress asked me, ‘Do you want to date?’, but (at that time) I wasn’t ready for it, so I turned her down.”

Wooyoung then was asked about his previous statement about being approached by three idol singers. MC Lee Young Ja commented, “I really think that Hyoyeon asked you out.” The Girls’ Generation member responded, “That never happened,” while KARA‘s Jiyoung added, “Today’s the first time I’ve talked to him.”

Jang Keun Suk Received a lot of Attention in Japan

Actor Jang Keun Suk received a lot of attention from several Japanese media sources in a promotional press interview for the drama series Love Rain. The interview was held before Love Rain starts airing on the Japanese private TV channel Fuji TV on July 25 .

More than 130 Japanese reporters from 90 major news sources, such as Yomiuri and Mainichi, attended the interview, showing their interest in Jang and the series. Jang was in a flood of flashlights and questions throughout the interview, and the police were even mobilized as lots of Jang’s fans brought traffic to a standstill by surrounding the place.

Jang Keun Suk and his costar Yoona were both seen greeting each other happily at the waiting room. The two of them carried the friendly atmosphere to the press conference, where their chemistry and playful comments brightened the mood. Those at the press conference only elevated their expectations while seeing the two actors get along so well.

Jang Keun Suks "Love Rain" has already aired on one cable channel in japan, KNTV, in May. Their drama has been praised by Japanese directors as a lovely and sweet love story. Their next broadcast is in hopes to revive the hallyu drama wave in Japan yet again.

2NE1 Cancel Upcoming Single

YG Entertainment announced that they have decided to postpone the release of 2NE1‘ upcoming single, which was originally scheduled to be released on July 28. Instead, the girls will be returning in October with a new album.

2NE1 will kick off their “New Evolution” tour this weekend in Seoul, traveling to the United States and Japan. It was decided that promoting the single and continuing their world tour would take a toll on the girls’ health. Meanwhile, 2NE1 will kick off their first “New Evolution” concert on July 28 and 29 at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium. The girls will perform in New Jersy on August 17, Los Angeles on August 24, Osaka on August 31-September 2, Nagoya on September 7-8, Yokohama on September 11-12, and Saitama on September 28-29.

Song Joong Ki as a Medical Student in Nice Guy

Stills from the upcoming melodrama "Nice Guy" featuring lead actor Song Joongki have been released. In these images, he gives off an innocent look, sporting a blue and red plaid shirt with a backpack on. He plays the character of Kang Maru, who has a pure heart and an IQ of 158. In this drama, he’s a good man to his lover Han Jae Hee (played by Park Si Yeon), but he changes into a bad man when he uses Seo Eun Gi (played by Moon Chae Won) for his revenge.

A spokesperson said, “Kang Maru, who has sincerely lived his life without losing hope even if he had a hard time, becomes a bad man after getting hurt by people. I feel that the audience will be surprised to see what a great actor Song is through his transformation from a nice guy to a bad guy."

The drama's supporting cast features many strong personalities. Lee Kwangsoo will be playing Kang Maroo's best friend Park Gaejil, Lee Sangyeob will play Park Joonha and Kim Yeongchul will play Eungi's father. Nice Guy is set to broadcast in September after "Bridal Mask."

T-ara's Hwayoung Being Ridiculed by Felow Member?

On July 25th and 26th at the Budokan in Tokyo,T-ara held their first independent concert. Prior to their concert, T-ara apologetically announced that Hwayoung would only be able to be on stage for part of their concert due to her leg injury. When the concert was nearly over, T-ara performed their hit song “Day By Day“ and Hwayoung performed her rap portion on stage seated in a chair.

After the concert, T-ara members wrote tweets that netizens assumed was directed towards fellow member Hwayoung in a teasing manner and they shocked to see the girls' attitude that publicly ridiculed Hwayoung's determination / commitment level. The fans suspected that the girls got lost in the competition of becoming the main spotlight in the group and began to question their teamwork

Their agency argued that the girls’ twitter accounts had been hacked, but it seems unlikely that all of their individual Twitters could have been hacked at the same time. Following are their tweets:

Hyomin started by posting, “The differences in levels of determination^^, Let us all have more determination. Fighting!!!”

Jiyeon then wrote, “The differences in levels of determination ^^, Always be humble ^^ and sensible ^^ I applaud you, acting genius ^^”

Eunjung added, “A position can make or break a person, but determination can make a person too. Sigh, it’s unfortunate. You have to know how to take care people around you.”

In response to these tweets, Hwayoung tweeted, “Sometimes, even determination alone is not enough. At times like these, I feel upset but I trust that it’s a blessing in disguise from the heavens. God, you know everything right?”

Jang Keun Suk, Hottest Korean Heartthrob in Taiwan

On July 24, Jang’s agency reported that Jang Keun Suk ranked first on the top ten most Korean popular male celebrities of the first half of 2012 on Yahoo, the biggest portal site in Taiwan. According to the agency, KBS 2TV’s Love Rain is currently airing in Taiwan and the leading actor Jang is popular among Taiwanese viewers because of his handsome face and his character’s carefree personality.

Besides Jang, Kim Hyun Joong ranked second and JYJ’s Yoo Chun ranked third. Jang recently finished his concert tour, the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour – The Cri Show 2, in Seoul and Yokohama, Japan, and will continue in Taipei, Taiwan, on September 1 and 2.

Girls' Generation (SNSD)'s Phone Number Being Sold $4 Each

SBS‘ ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘ reported July 25th that the phone numbers of today’s top stars are being sold online.

A call was made to the seller asking for the numbers of Girls’ Generation, and the seller remarked, “I have all of them. Each of them are $4.” The seller also explained that if you purchase multiple telephone numbers, you can receive a discount or receive more numbers for free.

When the seller was asked about the source from which the numbers came from, the response was, “There are people who sell them, saying they have connections with people in the industry. I think a sasaeng fan posted it on an online café.” The fan café in question is currently shut down.

"Big" Ended with "Big" Dissapointment?

Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung’s recent drama, “Big” has seen its finish while recording its personal high on viewership ratings for the last episode. According to the AGB Nielson reports, the last episode of “Big,” which aired on July 24, recorded a rating of 11.1% or 1.4% higher compared to the second to last episode, recorded 9.7%. “Big” hadn’t seen ratings in the double digits and settled for 3rd place in terms of ratings among the other Monday/Tuesday dramas.

Although the drama had a happy ending, some weren’t too happy with it. Some didn’t like how Daran’s love for Seo Yoon Jae just fizzled out. Some thought that Daran’s love for Kyung Joon could not have been 100% real because he was still stuck in Seo Yoon Jae’s body. Finally, some say that Daran and Kyung Joon’s reunification, totally disregards Seo Yoon Jae, which was disappointing.

Super Junior's Kim Kibum Suffers an Atopic Condition

After concluding the filming for the drama series "I Love Italy," Super Junior's Kim Kibum went to the hospital due to the symptoms of the illness showed up suddenly and later was diagnosed with an atopic condition. The hot weather and exhaustion from filming could have contributed to the symptoms he experienced.

The spokesperson said, "He was taking a break, but he showed the symptoms of an atopic disease all of sudden. The doctor said he would be fine by next Monday. Fortunately, he doesn’t have any special schedules like commercial shootings this week."

"I Love Italy" finished airing on July 17th through tvN and Kibum was cast as Keum Eundong, the lead character. The drama left viewers impressed with his performance, his innocent demeanor, and good looks.

Cha Tae-hyeon Only Dated One Girl

Actor Cha Tae-hyeon announced on KBS 2TV's talk show program "Win Win", that he had only dated one girl, who is now his wife.

On the show that aired on July 24, Cha said that he met his wife when he was in second year of high school. He said that his wife was his first love, but after dating in high school, they broke up, a gap period which Cha's wife used diligently, while Cha didn't.

"After we broke up, I think she dated about three or four other guys", guessed Cha. To confirm the details of his wife's past loves, the hosts of the show called up Cha's wife Choi Suk-eun who said that she did indeed date other guys, "but it wasn't serious".

"If I had the choice to go back in time, I'd still marry him", said Choi, reaffirming her love for her husband. "You know people see me as this romantic guy because I married my high school sweetheart", Cha jokingly said, "but the thing is I really had no other options".

Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun revealed that Sungmin wears pink dress as pajamas

Kyuhyun, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, and Sungmin of Super Junior guest-featured on the July 23rd broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Hello‘ to listen to the concerns and worries of the participants on the show. During the show when Leeteuk revealed his obsession over the color white, Sungmin also announced that he used to love the color pink explaining that ”I thought that pink looked the best on me.” However Eunhyuk interrupted, “He has a bit of the ‘princess-syndrome’.”

Maknae member Kyuhyun added much to the embarrassment of Sungmin, “I used to be his roommate, and he wore a pink dress as a pajama for 2 to 3 years.” Sungmin then defended himself by continuing, “Once on the air, I said that I liked pink, and fans sent me pink pajamas, clothes, and even socks. I tried [the pajamas], and it was comfortable,” confirming the claims of him wearing the ‘pink dress’. When MC Jung Chan Woo asked, “How do you go to the bathroom?“, Sungmin evoked much laughter by reenacting how he handled his business in the dress.

Jang Keun Suk warned sasaeng fans (stalker) once again

On July 22, Jang Geun Suk posted on his Twitter, "Attach an antenna on the taxi, follow the car, and get GPS transmission... You have so many various techniques. I tell you repeatedly, I don't need such things like stalker fans, so get out of here. I don't need you!"

Jang Geun Suk had also posted in October of last year, "Dear stalker fans. I bet you are giggling amongst yourselves that you know everything about me. But did you know? You're getting that much farther away from me. Smile when you can. I'm a scary person when I'm mad."

Gong Yoo Released Single Track "Because It's You" for Big OST

Gong Yoo finally contributed his vocals to the soundtrack for his drama "Big," which is currently airing on KBS. The actor has sung his own version of Davichi's "Because It's You," already included in the OST.

Following the completion of the recording, Gong Yoo stated, "It was a happy experience that let me think about the viewers and forget about my exhaustion." The song was released on midnight of July 23rd (KST).

Kim Jongmin in Relationship?

The ‘Jeongdongjin Vacation Special’ has been broadcasted on the July 22nd episode of KBS ’1 Night 2 Days’. The members were prohibited from making left, right, and u-turns and they had to get to their destination within 7 hours.  The mission required the members to give up their cell phones and Uhm Tae Woong looked very depressed. As it turns out Uhm Tae Woong is addicted to the internet. Kim Jong Min also started to send a text message to someone.

The members got a peek of the text Kim Jong Min was sending and the message read, “They’re seizing my phone so..”, and the members all said, “Kim Jong Min’s in a relationship again after a long break.”

Kim Jong Min explained that he was sending the text to his mother and Lee Soo Geun countered, “Maybe his girlfriend’s name is mommy.” Kim Jong Min then said, “Mother, I love you”, but Kim Seung Woo quickly countered, “You didn’t text like you would to your mother just now. You texted ‘It’s only you’”, exposing Kim Jong Min’s actual text message.
